Job Description

We are a mid-sized event space specializing in weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and social gatherings in Seattle. We are looking for a Catering Manager who is excited to grow with us and who brings professionalism, hospitality experience, strong organization, and genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable events.

This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step beyond coordinator-level responsibilities and take ownership of client relationships, event planning, and sales growth in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job details:

Manage inquiries from initial contact through event executionBuild strong relationships with clients and vendorsCreate proposals, menus, timelines, and event detailsCoordinate weddings, corporate meetings, celebrations, and social eventsPartner with culinary and manage a service team to ensure seamless executionHelp drive catering sales and identify new business opportunitiesConduct site visits, tastings, and client meetingsSupport event setup and execution as neededMaintain organized event records, contracts, and communicationsWhat we're looking for:2-5+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, events, restaurant management, or related fieldsStrong communication and client service skillsHighly organized with excellent attention to detailComfortable managing multiple events and priorities simultaneouslyProfessional, positive, and calm under pressureSales-minded with the ability to build relationships and close businessFlexible schedule, including some evenings and weekendsPassion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
