Job Summary:
The Event Producer is a key member of our full-service catering team, responsible for overseeing the seamless planning, production, and execution of events. This role combines creativity, organizational expertise, and leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Event Producer will collaborate with clients, chefs, and on-site team to design menus, develop event concepts, and ensure flawless operations during execution.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Event Production & Planning:
Work directly with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and goals for each event. Design event concepts, including customized menus, décor, and flow, in collaboration with culinary and design teams. Coordinate with the kitchen and operations teams to ensure menus are aligned with client needs, budgets, and timelines. Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, layouts, staffing requirements, and equipment needs. Source and coordinate rentals, décor, and third-party vendors as required.
On-Site Event Operations:
Act as the primary point of contact for on-site event captains and team leads. Ensure all staff are briefed on event details, including timelines, menus, and client expectations. Oversee event setup and execution ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to brand standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the event.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Partner with the culinary team to create innovative, seasonal, and client-specific menus. Provide guidance and support to on-site captains and service teams to ensure a cohesive event experience. Maintain open communication with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
Post-Event Responsibilities:
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and ensure client satisfaction. Assist with inventory tracking, billing, and event reporting.
Work Environment & Requirements:
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed. Travel to event locations and client meetings as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in event production, catering, or hospitality.
Skills:
Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge:
Understanding of food and beverage trends, event logistics, and catering operations. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with catering software or event management tools is a plus.
Supervisory Duties:
Manage a team of up to 10+ employees per event.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
