• Retail Associate / Events Assistant / Slimeatologist
• to join our Slimeatory store team.

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with kids and families, enjoys being creative, and can provide an exciting customer experience in a fast-paced retail, event, and social media-style environment. As a Slimeatologist, you will help customers shop, create slime at the DIY Bar, assist with slime classes and workshops, support birthday parties and events, help create social media content, restock products, keep the store clean and organized, and help make every customer's visit magical and slimey.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Retail Sales

• Greet every customer with a positive, welcoming attitude
• Help customers learn about premade slimes, weekly restocks, the Slime DIY Bar, classes, parties, events, merch, toys, and accessories
• Assist customers with product recommendations and purchases
• Ring up customers at the register
• Keep the store fun, friendly, clean, and photo-ready
• Encourage customers to follow Slimeatory on social media and leave reviews
• Create an exciting and memorable experience for every guest Slime DIY Bar
• Help customers create their own slime at the DIY Bar
• Explain slime options, colors, scents, textures, charms, toppings, and add-ins
• Assist customers during the slime-making process
• Keep the DIY Bar fully stocked, clean, and organized
• Make sure customers have a fun, hands-on, and creative experience Slime Classes, Workshops & Parties
• Assist with slime classes, workshops, birthday parties, and special events
• Help set up and clean up before and after events
• Prepare slime-making materials, decorations, party supplies, balloons, and activity areas
• Interact with kids and families in a fun, safe, and professional way
• Help lead or assist with slime-making activities
• Support mascot appearances and special event experiences when needed
• Help make parties and workshops exciting, organized, and memorable ### Social Media & Content Support
• Assist with creating short-form videos for Slimeatory's TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms
• Help film fun slime content, store content, restock videos, DIY Bar videos, party/event clips, and behind-the-scenes content
• Be comfortable possibly appearing in Slimeatory videos and social media content
• Help bring fun energy, creativity, and personality to videos
• Support social media content during store events, parties, workshops, slime restocks, and special launches
• Help make the store feel exciting, fun, and content-ready for customers and social media Store Operations
• Restock shelves, slime displays, merch, toys, and accessories
• Assist with weekly slime restocks and product displays
• Help organize inventory and communicate when supplies are low
• Keep the store, party areas, DIY Bar, displays, and checkout area clean and organized
• Follow store policies, cleaning procedures, and safety rules
• Help with opening and closing tasks when scheduled Qualifications
• Friendly, positive, reliable, and responsible
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable talking to customers, kids, and families
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Creative, hands-on, and willing to learn about slime
• Comfortable helping create short-form videos and possibly appearing in social media content
• Able to multitask and stay organized
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be available to work weekends, parties, events, and busy store hours Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in retail, customer service, party hosting, kids entertainment, childcare, or events
• Experience working with children and families
• Passion for slime, DIY activities, crafts, toys, or creative experiences
• Comfortable being on camera or around TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook-style content
