Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a passion for food and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Aloha POS system. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and order accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to food safety practices and high-quality standards. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
