Job Description

Customer Interaction:
Front of House - Counter service Come be a part of the face of our establishment and create a welcome and seamless experience for our guests. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and coordinating with the team to deliver exceptional service. This position is instrumental in maintaining a clean, organized environment and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and engage customers, ensuring a friendly first impression. By being familiar with the menu you could make recommendations and provide detailed information on ingredients and dietary options.
Order Management:
Accurately process orders using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Enter special requests, substitutions, and modifications with care. Manage cash, credit card, and digital transactions with precision. Maintain balanced cash registers and adhere to accounting procedures. Bring orders out to customer in timely manner as they are completed.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Keep the counter area clean, stocked, and visually appealing. Ensure supplies like condiments, utensils, and napkins are available. Assist in restocking food and beverage items as necessary.
Customer Satisfaction:
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally. Communicate feedback and issues to management for resolution. Promote menu items to enhance the dining experience and boost sales.
Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Experience & Skills:
Prior experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in order-taking and payment handling.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (e.g., food trays, beverage supplies). Comfortable working in a busy, dynamic environment.
Availability:
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Familiarity with menu items, preparation methods, and daily specials. Learn and be prepared to share the story behind our company and love for food.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.50 per hour
