Job Description

Set Up and Tear Down Crew Job Title:

Surprise, Arizona (in person)
Terms:
Part Time on Weekends (6 hours per week)
Salary/Rate:
$22 per hour
Required Hours:
Saturdays 10:00am - 1:00pm and Sundays 12:30pm - 3:30pm (subject to change) About Us We are a Calvary Chapel church in Surprise, Arizona. We are looking for crew to regularly help at our weekend events with set up and tear down. Our event is held on two school campuses, located across the street from each other. The set up and tear down crew ensures our event is set up on time and equipment put away so the venue is back to its original state. About This Role
  • Employees are paid twice a month
  • Reports to on-site supervisor
  • Assistance with set up and tear down of audio/visual and stage equipment, general area set up/tear down, and technical support Responsibilities
  • Assist with equipment set up and tear down as assigned
  • Unload and load trailers
  • Prepare outside the venue with signage, parking cones, tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed
  • Assist with set up and tear down of rooms at both campus locations including chairs, audio/visual/sound, and signage
  • Maintain proper care, movement, and storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers, audio, video, sound, recording, and signage, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining venue after tear down with limited vacuuming of floors, cleaning the walls, and moving tables
  • Work collaboratively in fast-paced environments with other crew members and event coordinators
  • Report any broken or non-working equipment to on-site supervisor immediately
  • Other duties as assigned Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years old with a reliable mode of transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Must be available on both Saturdays and Sundays with no more than one day off per month
  • Exceptional work ethic, punctual and reliable
  • Respectful, positive and collaborative attitude
  • Customer service experience (Preferred)
  • Prior experience assembling & disassembling sound/video equipment (preferred)
