Job Description

Overview Do you love babies? Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young children and their families? We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and nurturing Early Childhood Ministry Team Member to join church family. The first few years of a child's life are some of the most important for their development, and this role provides a unique opportunity to help create a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where children can thrive. As part of our team, you'll spend your time caring for infants and children ages 0-4, engaging in play, comforting little ones, building relationships with families, and demonstrating Christ's love through your actions. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or simply have a heart for children, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for infants and young children Hold, comfort, and care for babies while helping them feel secure and loved Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other daily care routines Engage children through age-appropriate play, activities, and learning experiences Partner with parents and fellow team members to provide excellent care Help maintain a clean, organized, and healthy nursery environment Respond calmly and appropriately to children's needs and any unexpected situations What We're Looking For A genuine love for babies and young children A caring, patient, and positive attitude Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility Ability to communicate well with children, parents, and team members Willingness to actively engage with children through play and interaction Previous babysitting, nursery, childcare, or volunteer experience is helpful but not required First Aid and CPR certification are a plus Why You'll Love This Role Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families Be part of a supportive and encouraging ministry team Gain valuable experience working with infants and young children Help create a safe and loving environment where children can experience God's love from their earliest years
