Operate POS systems such as Square to process transactions accurately and swiftly. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling duties. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Support the team with food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and adherence to sanitation protocols in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting. Assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and sanitizing the workspace. Experience Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service within a quick-service or fast-food restaurant is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems.
