Required Skills and Qualifications:

No previous experience required. Arrive to work daily on time or early. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Able to use a calculator and ruler for basic math and measuring functions. Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours/day.

Heavy lifting:

Able to safely lift boxes or rolls of material up to 50lbs. Experience using Microsoft Office Applications is a plus. Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and challenges. Strong communication skills both written (email) and verbal (phone). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities:

Follow correspondence regarding orders from start of an order, through shipping, until relayed to accounting department. Moving printed jobs from printing presses to rewinders for the final steps before shipping. Assist with weighing, counting, and packaging orders that do not need to be run through a rewinder machine. Verify accuracy of outgoing orders and ensure all necessary documentation is included. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments. Assist customers through email or by phone: checking on order status, updating shipping information, providing shipping quotes, providing ETAs, and sending packing lists and tracking information when a shipment is completed. Match up order confirmations and document details to be provided to the accounting desk. Performs other job duties as assigned.
