We are a new restaurant and we need experienced workers to help us! Route 66 Sub & Food is a customer-focused deli serving high-quality subs, and fresh ingredients with classic roadside hospitality. We take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and great service.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced deli/restaurant team member who understands kitchen operations, works efficiently under pressure, and delivers excellent customer service. Experience is required this is not an entry-level position.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare made-to-order subs, and deli items with speed and accuracy Operate slicers, and other commercial kitchen equipment safely Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times Accurately operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized Assist with inventory rotation and freshness checks Work as part of a team to maintain smooth daily operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must have experience in sandwich making!!! Strong knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic Ability to stand for long periods Flexible availability, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Food Handler Certification Experience in Sandwich making Cash handling and customer service experience Ability to maintain consistency and quality under pressure

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
