Deli Clerk

We are a small family-run deli that has been serving our local community since 1999. We take pride in providing our customers with high-quality products and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team.

Please note:

starting pay at minimum wage (may be higher based on experience). • Shifts available all week, however - Availability on Sundays , is a must. If you are not available, please do not apply. Initially, this position will start with 1-2 days a week, but may be increased to 3-4 days with demonstrated performance.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and take their orders Prepare and serve sandwiches, salads, soups, and other deli items Operate cash register and handle financial transactions Maintain a clean and organized work environment Receive and unpack deliveries Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed Provide excellent customer service Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

In addition to other shifts, must be available to work on Sundays. Prior experience in a deli or food service environment Required. Excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Food handling certification (must be valid/unexpired) We offer a friendly and supportive work environment, competitive salary, and opportunities for advancement.
