Front of House Staff

We are looking for Bartenders/Servers/Server Assistants/Food Runners/Polishers to join our FOH team at our New location at Brentwood. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests, and brings a positive and professional work ethic. Well-groomed and with a great sense of style, you are a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, beautiful, casual fine-dining environment. Your Role Bussers are an important part of the FOH team and are responsible for supporting the delivery of an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You will ensure that tables are set, silverware is placed correctly and guests' needs are attended to. You help to maintain the restaurant's image by keeping it clean and properly set up for service. Reports To General Manager Assistant General Manager FOH Manager Assistant Manager Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet our guests. Making guests feel comfortable is critical to a positive guest experience. Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints in a polite and efficient manner. Set tables prior to service and reset after each seating according to Gruppo Terroni Service Standards. Maintain knowledge of the restaurant floor plan, including table numbers and locations, private dining spaces, etc. Communicate with servers and hosts to expedite efficient seating, table utilizations and guest satisfaction. Carry food, dishes, trays or silverware from the kitchen following proper procedures. Attend to guest's needs in a friendly, timely and professional manner. Keep stations well stocked with utensils, roll-ups, water glasses, napkins and other necessary shift supplies.

Maintain the bread station:

Cut bread as needed and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures at the end of the shift to close the station. Clear tables of used plates, glasses and utensils according to Gruppo Terroni Service Standards and bring to dishwashers for cleaning. Clean up spilled food or drink in accordance with cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Remove broken dishes or glassware and remove trash following safety procedures. Perform cleaning and stocking duties. Assist in moving tables, chairs and furniture to accommodate guests as needed and to set up for events. Inspect, stock and clean washrooms following the assigned schedule. Assist with putting away deliveries when requested. Maintain complete and up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including correct pronunciation of our dishes. Maintain knowledge of all Gruppo Terroni locations, our way of doing business, and website & social media information.
