ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

MAIN JOB DUTIES
) We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and eager-to-learn Team Members to join our team. You will be responsible for front-of-house guest service (greeting, order-taking, serving, checkout) or back-of-house basic prep and cleaning, depending on shift assignment. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to enter the restaurant industry with a passion for healthy dining. This position reports to the Shift Lead or Store Manager. Front-of-House (as assigned)
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Accurately record orders and explain our Japanese-inspired healthy menu options (build-your-own bowls/salads)
  • Serve food promptly, clear tables, and maintain a clean dining area
  • Process payments (cash, credit, mobile) and operate POS system correctly
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and allergens Back-of-House (as assigned)
  • Assist with food prep (washing and cutting vegetables, basic cooking support)
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Keep workstations and floors clean
  • Assist with receiving and stocking inventory General Responsibilities
  • Follow all food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements
  • Work closely with team members to complete tasks during peak hours
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment 【
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
】(JOB
REQUIREMENTS
) Legally authorized to work in the U.S., 18+ years old No experience required - full training provided (we value attitude over experience) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Basic English communication skills (able to conduct basic conversations with guests). Bilingual proficiency (English/Chinese or English/Japanese) is preferred, but not required. Available for flexible shifts and standing work.

Ability to stand for long periods, walk, reach high, bend, and squat. 【
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
】 Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred Interest in Japanese cuisine or healthy dining preferred POS system experience preferred 【
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT
】 Food Handler Card preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire) 【
