Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations through bussing and sanitation duties. Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, wrapping orders, and ensuring proper food storage. Support the team in food industry best practices like serving quickly, managing time effectively, and supporting overall restaurant operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are necessary. Strong time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like bussing tables or cleaning workstations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
