Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and care, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy in sales and retail math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials throughout shifts to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Assist with food handling procedures like bussing tables, cleaning utensils, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to uphold quick service standards. Promote upselling opportunities by recommending add-ons or special menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order assembly.
