ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Ready-to-Eat Food Prep & Assembly Team Members help bring Voyager's café food program to life. In this role, you will prepare and assemble fresh, high-quality grab-and-go items such as sandwiches, salads, burritos, breakfast items, café snacks, and more. This is a hands-on production role for someone who is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about food. You will work closely with a small team to keep our cafés stocked with thoughtful, delicious items our guests can enjoy every day. At Voyager, we also love creativity and innovation. Each quarter, our team works on new food ideas, seasonal items, and ways to improve our menu — and we want this person to be excited to bring ideas to the table.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

3-5 days per week,

Sunday-Thursday Preferred Shift:

11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with some flexibility on start time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, burritos, wraps, breakfast items, and other ready-to-eat café food items
• Portion ingredients and follow recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation
• Package, label, and organize food items for café delivery and distribution
• Support prep for ready-to-eat and ready-to-bake items as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production workspace
• Follow food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage standards
• Assist with ingredient prep, inventory, restocking, and organization
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure production runs smoothly
• Stay curious — contribute ideas during quarterly food innovation and menu development

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Genuine enthusiasm for food, quality, and hands-on production work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen or production environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent schedule
• Availability to work 3-5 days per week, Sunday-Thursday
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license for occasional deliveries or supply runs Preferred
• 1+ year of experience in a kitchen, café, bakery, catering, or food production environment
• Experience with prep, assembly, packaging, or grab-and-go food production
• Interest in menu development, seasonal food, or food innovation
• A love for working in small, collaborative team environments
