We have a well established brand and customer base in Carlsbad and are excited to branch out into a new market. We pride ourselves on our well executed food as well as our high standards of cleanliness. As a small kitchen we want to ensure that each member of our team feels fulfilled and satisfied with their responsibilities. This means having a proper work life balance and a relatively lower than normal stress level for a professional kitchen. As a kitchen we welcome collaboration and the sharing of new food related ideas. We want you to be happy to work here, honestly. We make simple but proper food and we are actively expanding and growing our menu and food offerings. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and handling practices, and dish washing. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Provide excellent service by ensuring that meals are served promptly and meet quality expectations. Skills Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations. Knife skills and familiarity with various cooking equipment. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Love for cooking and eating.
