Duties Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems Handle cash transactions and process payments with precision and integrity Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards in the café environment Clear tables, bus tables, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas to promote a safe and inviting space Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail math is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners! Familiarity with Toast POS systems such is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and retail transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with bussing tables, serving customers, or working in a restaurant or grocery store setting is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join us at Slice of Homage Pizza where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
