Job Overview Want a summer job that Rocks ?! Maria Empanada, the leader in Argentinian Empanadas in the country is opening a new location at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Weare open now, and are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team in a fast-paced, quick service restaurant environment. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in baking delicious empanadas, delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen operation. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting guests with their orders while promoting our menu offerings. We value positive attitudes, ability to create a warm and positive environment, a willingness to help and assist others. Hours available are 3-11 pm, weekends are a must. Shceduoe will be for 22-30 hours per week. Come share your Buena Onda with us Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality, delicious flavors and consistently top notch food. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Assist with cleaning guest service areas, ensuring a tidy environment for guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols within the food industry. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not required. No specialty cooking skills needed. Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and sanitation practices. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive and welcoming attitude. Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling and restaurant operations. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and commitment to providing an excellent dining experience for all guests.
