Sandwich Maker and Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier / Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing fresh, high-quality sandwiches that meet our standards for taste, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both at the register and on the line, can move efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and follows food safety and cleanliness standards at all times. This position participates in the tip pool. Responsibilities Greet guests, take orders accurately, and process payments using the POS system Prepare sandwiches and related menu items according to established recipes, builds, and portion standards Maintain speed and accuracy during peak service times Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines Set up, stock, and organize sandwich and cashier stations before service Clean and break down workstations, equipment, and utensils at the end of each shift Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth service and accurate order fulfillment Monitor ingredient levels and alert a supervisor or manager of low stock or quality issues Assist with catering orders and large orders as needed, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation Qualifications & Experience Previous food service or quick-service restaurant experience preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and proper food handling preferred Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time-management skills Ability to work well in a team-based, fast-paced environment Positive attitude with a focus on customer service and quality execution Join our team as a Cashier / Sandwich Maker and help us deliver fast, fresh, and consistent food while creating a great experience for every guest.
