Deli Counter Associate (Full-Time)

Overview We're looking for a reliable, upbeat, customer-focused Deli Counter Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position with the majority of hours scheduled in the morning. Our store opens at 8:00 AM, and this role typically starts at 7:30 AM to help set the day up for success. If you're the kind of person who shows up on time, keeps things clean and organized, and genuinely enjoys helping customers—this could be a great fit. What You'll Do (Daily Responsibilities) Prepare grab-and-go salads and grab-and-go sandwiches. Slice deli meats and cheeses to order. Make made-to-order sandwiches for customers at the counter. Assist with packaging and prepping other grab-and-go items. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized deli workspace. (food safety & sanitation are a must) Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service throughout the day. What We're Looking For A positive, cheery attitude and a great customer-facing demeanor. Strong punctuality and reliability. (this is a morning-start role) Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. Attention to detail. (portioning, labeling/packaging, cleanliness, presentation) Experience Food service and/or deli experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and great attitude. Schedule Full-time Morning-focused schedule Typical start time: 7:30 AM (store opens at 8:00 AM) Pay Hourly pay based on experience Candidates with more relevant deli/food service experience will be offered a higher rate.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
