Job Description

Cam's Kettle is a specialty coffee company based in the Washington, DC area. We serve hundreds of home delivery members through two core parts of the business: 1. A weekend coffee booth at Eastern Market where members stop by for coffee and new customers discover the brand 2. A home delivery service bringing farm-direct, ethically sourced coffee straight to members' doors We work directly with coffee farmers across Latin America and believe great coffee starts with great relationships. CK is looking for a strong "go-getter" who enjoys talking with people and helping them discover coffee they'll genuinely look forward to each morning. The Weekend Brand Lead plays an important role at Eastern Market, building relationships with regulars, introducing new people to the brand, and helping prospective members find a delivery plan that fits their needs.
In the role you will:
Be the reason people stop at the booth — your energy should naturally pull people in Turn quick conversations into real interest in having great coffee delivered to their door Help people make a decision on the spot with a simple, clear explanation of how the CK membership works Pick up on people quickly — who's curious, who's serious, and how to approach each one Run the booth like it's yours , staying sharp and engaged even when it's busy Track how you're doing and try to beat it next shift — this is a performance role, not just showing up This role is for you if you: Want growth, not just a job — you'd take learning and momentum over a comfortable 9-5 Actually enjoy talking to people and can build quick, natural connections Stay sharp under pressure and don't shut down when things get busy Think on your feet and help people quickly see what's right for them Are coachable and competitive with yourself — you want feedback and try to improve every week Like being outside and part of something real — not stuck behind a counter all day This role is not for you if you: Want a typical coffee shop job where you stay behind the counter and wait for orders Don't like being "on" with people or prefer to stay out of the spotlight Uncomfortable in fast-paced, outdoor environments where things change quickly Have regular weekend conflicts — consistency on Saturdays and Sundays is essential
Compensation:
Base Pay:
$74/shift

Pay:
