In this role, you'll deliver exceptional customer experiences by preparing fresh, delicious food and providing friendly, efficient service. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of deli foods including slicing meats, cheeses, and assembling sandwiches with precision and care Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about products, and upselling items to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices Manage cash handling duties with accuracy while performing cashiering tasks in a fast-paced environment Restock deli items regularly to ensure freshness and availability for customers Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or preparing ingredients for daily service Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or working in quick service & fast-food restaurants Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote products confidently Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store operations, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Experience working in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential Embark on an energetic journey where your dedication fuels memorable customer experiences!
