This is a contract job, two day event for Friday July 3rd in
MOUNT DORA
& Saturday July 4th in DeBARY, FL•You do not have to work both shows. You can pick one. Join an innovative team as a Drone Light Show Crew Member, where you will play a vital role in executing spectacular aerial displays that captivate audiences and elevate event experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of a drone light show. Aerial Illuminations Drone Light Shows is producing a 4th of July show for the city of Mount Dora on Friday July 3rd and DeBary, FL on Saturday July 4th . We cannot do it without amazing crew members to put it together. You do not have to agree to work both shows but if you would like to you are more than welcome to. Each location is about 35 minutes apart. Basic Duties (Including but Not Limited To) Assist with setup and teardown of drones and show equipment Prepare and maintain drones for performances Handle, organize, charge, and manage drone batteries Assist with physical setup, equipment placement, and safety checks Follow all safety protocols Maintain professionalism at all times Assist in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of drone flight systems prior to shows Monitor drone performance throughout the show Conduct pre- and post-show inspections, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition Requirements Must be 18 years or older Availability to work the entire shift Ability to lift 25 lbs minimum Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods Reliable transportation to and from the event site Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing weather conditions Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Previous experience with drones, AV equipment, or event production is a plus, but not required. Schedule & Work Environment Scheduled hours will vary and require flexibility Friday July 3rd & Saturday July 4th: Meet on site at 10AM End times vary; most days are expected to conclude around 11:30 PM , depending on show schedule and cleanup Crew members are expected to remain through full cleanup Breaks will be provided throughout the shift Snacks, water, and Gatorade will be available all day Working outside - dress accordingly
