About the role The Food Runn er s ervice s restaurant areas by promptly d eliver ing food items , clearing and resetting tables, and assisting wait staff. What you will do- Pick up food items from kitchen , check order for accuracy and quality before delivering and serve guest .
- Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china , glass, and silverware for service in a discreet manner.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Assist in stocking linens, china , glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
- Breakdown, clean and set- up side stations and heart of house areas. What you bring
- At least 6 month s of food service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 4 0 lbs.
