Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their dining experience Prepare food items efficiently following safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and kitchen procedures Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials to maximize revenue opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, kitchen stations, and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed Assist with food prep tasks including assembling orders, packaging, and ensuring quality standards are met Support other team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing food safety protocols during busy hours Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food industry roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Restaurant experience or café background is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy makes a difference!
