In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and supporting the overall operations of our food service establishment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety guidelines. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment for customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times. Follow food handling guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a fast-food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food safety practices. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
