Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the deli department operates smoothly. Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
• Assist customers in selecting and ordering deli items
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
• Handle cash transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system

Skills:

• Strong sales skills to promote deli products and upsell to customers
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food industry regulations
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in a deli setting
• Previous experience in a restaurant or deli is preferred but not required
• Outstanding customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
