Sandwich Artist/Cashier

The New York Butcher Shoppe is a high-end specialty grocery store with a hidden gem: made-to-order Boar's Head Deli sandwiches. We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a Sandwich Maker with potential to grow! This is an ideal position for someone wanting to get out of the late night food scene while expanding your experience and knowledge in an upscale store surrounded by fun, knowledgeable professionals.

Responsibilities:

(include but not limited to) Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders. Slice meat and Cheeses to Order. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures. Operate meat and cheese slicer. Pack out grocery items. Assist prep crew. Run Register. Customer Service. If you have great customer service and the willingness to learn- there are many positions in the Butcher Shoppe that you will have the opportunity to move up and learn to work in different areas.
