About Us The Hob Nob is a quick-service Sarasota restaurant returning with a renewed focus on quality food and friendly service. We are looking for reliable and customer-focused cashiers to join our team and help deliver a smooth and welcoming guest experience. Part-Time Compensation:
$[15-18] per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Operating hours Monday-Saturday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Shifts scheduled within operating hours. Closed Sundays . Responsibilities As a cashier, you will be a key point of contact for our guests and assist with daily front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities include:
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system (Toast POS experience a plus) Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately Providing friendly customer service and assisting guests with menu questions Taking and processing orders efficiently Packaging food orders and ensuring accuracy Preparing milkshakes and beverages as needed Restocking condiments and front-of-house supplies Maintaining a clean and organized service area Assisting with minimal food preparation as required Following all food safety and sanitation standards Communicating effectively with kitchen and team members Qualifications & Skills Cash handling experience preferred Experience with POS systems (Toast POS experience a plus) Strong customer service skills Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic food preparation skills (milkshakes, packaging, condiments) Team-oriented with a positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and availability within operating hours Food Handler Certification (preferred but not required) Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Quick-service schedule with consistent operating hours Employee meal discounts Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within the company How to Apply Apply in person at The Hob Nob or submit your resume with availability and contact information.
