Responsibilities:

• Sanitate work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and following recipes
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Buss tables and clean dining areas to ensure a clean and inviting environment for customers
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials
• Use Aloha POS system to input orders and process payments accurately

Experience:

• Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

Skills:

• Sanitation:

  Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow proper sanitation procedures

• Culinary:

  Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Cash register: Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions

• Bussing:

  Ability to clear tables and clean dining areas efficiently
• Food preparation: Basic skills in preparing ingredients and following recipes

• Math:

  Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

• Aloha POS:

  Familiarity with using the Aloha POS system for order input and payment processing
• Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety
• Cash handling: Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
