Meat Clerk

A Meat Clerk is responsible for helping customers with special requests, finding items in the case, stocking packaged and fresh meat, helping the cutter wrap and package cuts of beef, poultry, and pork. The Meat Clerk will also be sure to uphold the quality standards of Little Giant as well as the safe handling practices. The Meat Clerk will report to the Market Manager as well as the store manager. This job is part-time and includes advancement opportunities within the company. Little Giant Farmer's Market was founded in Riverdale, GA, in 1984 with a focus on fresh produce. The store expanded into a full-service supermarket and has been growing ever since. Little Giant is in the process of being updated with a rebrand, store remodels, new products, and a new pricing structure—to name a few. There are several opportunities for advancement within the company as we grow and expand Little Giant and a new banner: FreshTake.
