JOB FUNCTION

As a Deli Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our deli department. Your expertise in providing excellent customer service, assisting with deli product preparation, maintaining a clean and organized deli counter, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers is essential to our commitment in delivering high quality deli items. Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fill and maintain deli counterKeep a clean and safe work areaAssist customers in their purchasesProvide outstanding customer serviceRecord and report accurate inventory countsAssist all customers in their shoppingOther duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old or olderAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work with othersGood interpersonal skillsGood verbal communication skillsBasic math skills are requiredPrevious experience is helpful but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

On feet up to 8+ hours per dayLifting, reaching, grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squattingFrequently lift 0-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Slicer, Knives, Box Bailor, Smoker Holding Containers, Vacuum Sealer, Scales, Sou-Vide Machine
