Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision. Prepare a variety of coffee drinks as a barista, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup. Assemble fresh sandwiches and food items following safety standards and recipes to meet customer expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and dining spaces. Manage food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies, restocking ingredients, and recording usage accurately. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that encourages repeat visits. Experience as a barista or in coffee preparation to craft quality beverages confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques in a café or food service environment. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining accuracy in cash handling. Basic math skills for cash reconciliation, sales calculations, and retail math tasks. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail or food industry setting.
