Responsibilities Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage cash register transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change. Assist with food industry tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods while maintaining high-quality service. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
