Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Salad Maker to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be the creative force behind preparing fresh, flavorful salads that delight our customers. Duties Prepare a variety of salads using fresh ingredients, ensuring each dish is visually appealing and delicious Follow established recipes and menu plans to maintain consistency and quality across all offerings Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Assist with menu planning by suggesting new salad combinations and seasonal ingredients Manage food prep stations efficiently, ensuring timely service during busy hours Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Support the culinary team in food handling, knife skills, and meal preparation tasks as needed Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Background in food preparation, cooking, or food service within restaurants or the food industry Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving practices preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques required Experience with food safety certifications or training is a plus Enthusiasm for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills within the food industry Join us to bring fresh ideas and vibrant flavors to life! Pay:
$17.50 - $22.50 per hour
