Sandwich Artist Reports To:
Shift Supervisor / Store Manager Position Summary A Sandwich Artist is responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and other menu items while delivering excellent customer service. This role involves food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for customers. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare sandwiches, salads, wraps, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards. Recommend menu items and upsell products when appropriate. Operate cash registers and process payments. Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, dining areas, and equipment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials as needed. Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory. Assist with opening and closing duties. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food service or customer service experience is an asset but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
