SCHEDULE 11
30am - 8:00pm 3 days during the week with weekend availability
WORK LOCATION
Arnett Hospital
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public. The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment. Prints, reviews, and verifies food and nutrition orders for accuracy and completeness Stocks and maintains the nutrition pantry/room, ensuring supplies are well organized and readily available. Gathers and "shops" for food, beverages, and related supplies throughout the hospital to fulfill daily needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. No experience required. Requires knowledge of basic food safety, infection control and sanitation. Serve Safe training may be required, depending on location. ISDOH certification of Food handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some locations. Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred. Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling. We are an equal opportunity employer.
