Join the Floyd County Library as a Building Services Team Member and help create safe, welcoming, and functional spaces for our patrons and staff.

Schedule:

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that includes evenings and a rotating schedule of every other Friday and Saturday.

What You'll Do:

No two days are the same in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinating daily deliveries and pickups between library branches Assembling furniture and installing equipment as needed Performing light maintenance tasks such as painting and minor repairs Maintaining cleanliness and overall appearance of library facilities Ensuring buildings and grounds reflect and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment Assisting with light snow removal on walkways and entry areas during winter months
