Part-Time (Weekends Only) About Us The Rooster's Den is a fast-paced, locally loved breakfast and lunch spot known for made-from-scratch comfort food, friendly service, and a strong sense of community. We're looking for a dependable, high-energy team member to help keep our weekend service running smoothly. Position Overview We are hiring a To-Go Specialist / Expo to manage takeout orders and assist with food expediting during our busiest shifts. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, speed, and great guest experience—both in-house and over the phone. Schedule Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Must be available EVERY Saturday and Sunday No exceptions — reliability is key for this role Pay & Perks Starting at $10/hour (based on experience and work ethic) Opportunity for increases based on performance Earn tips on top of hourly pay Key Responsibilities Answer phones and take accurate to-go orders Enter orders into POS system efficiently Coordinate and package takeout orders with accuracy and attention to detail Work alongside kitchen staff to expedite food quickly and correctly Maintain a clean and organized expo/to-go area Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times What We're Looking For Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent multitasking skills Comfortable using phones and POS systems Great communication and teamwork Attention to detail and pride in getting orders right Dependable and punctual — weekends are critical Bonus Points If You Have Previous restaurant or customer service experience Experience with takeout or expo roles Ability to stay calm under pressure Why Join Us?
