The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain experience in the fast-paced food industry, including quick service and restaurant operations. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards Operate POS systems for order processing and transactions Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist in food handling, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic cooking tasks and food preparation as needed Follow all safety guidelines related to sanitation, food handling, and equipment use Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and kitchen calculations Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with food preparation, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is desirable Prior experience in retail or grocery store settings involving cash handling or serving is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success
