Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu options. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting overall restaurant operations to ensure a smooth flow during busy hours. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations are essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued. Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment demonstrates versatility in fast-paced settings. Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.
