Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items according to company standards, ensuring freshness and quality. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions quickly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, portioning, and waste reduction. Upsell additional menu items or upgrades to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies to support smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or fast food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a quick service environment within a restaurant or café setting; retail or grocery store experience is beneficial.
