Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Responsibilities Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers, addressing their needs and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food safety practices like proper food handling, sanitation, and bussing tables when needed. Support team members in daily operations within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting to ensure smooth service flow. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service within the food industry or retail environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to serve customers effectively.
