Looking for cashiers and deli associates

Duties Operate the POS system Square to process sales accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using retail math skills Prepare food items in the deli area, including slicing, packaging, and maintaining food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or salads while adhering to sanitation guidelines Upsell products by recommending additional items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli and cashier stations, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep areas Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in compliance with food safety regulations Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or grocery stores is preferred but not required—training will be provided Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping others Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory—training available Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Food preparation experience or culinary background is advantageous but not essential—willingness to learn is key Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Join our team today to be part of an energetic environment where your skills in food industry operations, cashiering, and customer service will shine!
