POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Member is responsible and accountable for performing assigned tasks and duties within the restaurant, including guest service, food preparation, restaurant cleanliness, and teamwork. This role delivers exceptional guest satisfaction by "blowin' their minds" with amazing food and service while helping create a fun, energetic workplace.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Team Member will work productively in a fast-paced environment, maintain a high speed of service, interact with guests, collaborate closely with other Team Members to complete tasks, follow all safety and security procedures, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Management Team.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DAVE'S HOT CHICKEN TEAM MEMBER
Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering guest questions Work collaboratively with teammates to prepare menu items while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements Operate kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, and other food-service equipment Maintain daily restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting kitchen utensils and high-touch areas, and servicing restrooms Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and calmly, delivering a "blow their minds" experience that keeps guests coming back
MUST HAVES / QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 16 years of age Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and opening and closing shifts Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in a fast-paced environment, bend and stoop, and lift 50-75 lbs comfortably Ability to work in close quarters and around heat Positive attitude while performing all duties Strong commitment to guest satisfaction Effective communication skills with teammates and the Restaurant Management Team Reliable transportation to and from work Access to a telephone or other reliable method of communication with management and teammates
