Key responsibilities include:

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. This team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product and customer service. Displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude that is shown through good eye contact and body language. Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions. Frequently interact with customers in need of assistance. Sells products by providing customers with the information needed to make product-related decisions. Possessing a sense of urgency and comfort level to be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for weighing, wrapping, and pricing meat for customers. Stocking product, and rotates product within date and properly displays it. Following safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products. Ensure a picture-perfect presentation for all packages & lunch meats. Cleans their section and sweeps and mops daily. Complies with sanitation and safety guidelines. Assists with other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age. Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service. Ability to work well with others and be an effective team member. Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems. Ability to interpret and follow instructions. Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product Ability to stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

Food preparation experience Deli & meat counter experience

What We Offer:

Hourly Wages Overtime (time and a half) First pick for discounted/sale products 1-20oz non-alcoholic beverage each workday 1 sandwich for lunch provided each workday

Work Conditions:

Meat & Deli Clerks perform their duties primarily at the meat case, deli case, and in the meat cooler. Work involves walking; lifting, moving, carrying, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds. Duties also include frequent interaction with customers and fellow associates.
