Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies regularly to keep the station well-equipped for peak hours Assist with bussing tables and maintaining overall cleanliness in dining areas as needed Skills Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments, including quick service or fast-food restaurants Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Experience in cashiering, upselling techniques, and sales to maximize revenue opportunities Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining focus on quality and efficiency Join us as a Sandwich Artist where your energy fuels our success!
