Responsibilities Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, maintaining quality and presentation. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing, payments, and cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, portioning, and food safety practices to ensure freshness and safety. Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in cashiering, cash handling, or retail math helps in managing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills are essential for maintaining high-quality service standards. Prior restaurant experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key!
