Front of House Team Member

Overview:

Fred's, a small Detroit style pizza company operating out of Harbert, MI is seeking a customer service focused individual to join our team as a Front of House team member. This is a part time, seasonal position with employment expected from May through August. We are looking for a personable, dynamic individual who enjoys connecting with customers while operating in a fast paced, fast casual environment.

Responsibilities:

In this role your responsibilities would include and are not limited to: Greet customers promptly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience Take accurate food and beverage orders in person, over the phone, or via POS system Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy with all payments Answer menu questions and make recommendations when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and service stations Greet customers promptly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience Answer menu questions and make recommendations when neede, be able to answer menu questions when asked Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and service stations Run food items from the kitchen to seated guests when needed.

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required Friendly, outgoing attitude with strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Ability to stay organized and multitask during busy shifts Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
